It’s been a few days since one of the greatest weekends in Hip Hop history has occurred. Two of raps biggest titans finally came to blows with the gloves off. Did they go to far? Who won? What will happen to their legacies moving forward?
These are questions that will be answered in due time.
Let analyze the most damaging records put out from both sides:

Not like Us was almost posted as it surely will circulate the clubs for a good minute. But damage wise, it doesn’t compete with meet the grahams. That record has undoubtedly forced everyone to look at Drake sideways even if they wont admit it. Now, every woman he is linked to and every piece of past footage will only further push this narrative. He has since debunked this angle but the damage is done.

Family Matters
Drake has also thrown some allegations out into the universe. Whether Kendrick and his fanbase like it or not, the wife beating allegations are a black stain on him now. Similar to a cancer, it will either remain a small speculation or grow uncontrollably. If things happen in Kendrick’s personal life, especially pertaining to his wife and child, the court of public opinion will quickly turn against him. Just as I believe 6:16 in L.A. is bound to keep Drake up wondering if his n*ggas are loyal, Family Matters will definitely live rent (Dave) free in the back of Kendricks mind. Drake injected a poisonous venom in to his veins. It remains to be seen how much damage it will actually cause.
This was a beautiful moment for Hip Hop. Now that the spectacle is over and the fans are satisfied, hopefully these two can talk it out in the future and get back to being a part of the Big 3 again.
